Biggest Youtube Premiere? BTS said Catch Me If You Can!
BTS released their new song, “Dynamite,” and ended the wait for one of the most highly-anticipated songs of 2020! So much that its energetic video music video just smashed the record for the biggest premiere in Youtube history.
Millions of people were watching it live even at midnight EST when the Mv took an explosive start. And this situation shattered the record of the biggest premiere of youtube with 4 million concurrent viewers, according to YouTube’s live counter. Exact figures for the count are not available yet. Still, a live view count of 4 million already gave BTS the record of biggest premiere ever, eventually doubling the former record holder “Blackpink.”
Blackpink Lately held the record for the biggest premiere in YouTube history with “How You Like That.” The Girl Group snatched this record from BTS just two months ago. How You Like That by Blackpink drew 1.65 million concurrent views breaking a record that BTS had set back in February with ON Mv, which brought 1.54 million simultaneous views.
Now, BTS ARMY is focused on taking the 24-hour debut record back. And with such a marvelous start, their expectations seem to come in real soon.
So Army, keep streaming Dynamite!
