BTS wins the 2nd week on Billboard Hot 100 and celebrates it with ARMY most sweetly and chaotically possible!
On the night of September 1, Billboard announced that BTS had made a grand entrance on Billboard Hot 100 chart. BTS made history by becoming the first Korean artist to rank first on the chart.
According to the Nielsen Music data, “Dynamite” earned 182,000 downloads in the U.S. from August 28 to September 3, with 17.5 million digital streams. In the first week of September, the BTS song reached 16 million radio listeners, up 38% from the previous week’s 11.6 million figure.
But this achievement isn’t just enough and only step for BTS as Korean artists. This made BTS the first and only group of the 21st century to debut at #1 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart and remained at the top for a second consecutive week.
Now ARMYs are anxiously waiting for next week’s Billboard Hot 100 chart update to see if BTS can keep up their streak. The prediction says that BTS Dynamite needs around 100,000 sales to beat Cardi B and Megan Thee Stallion’s “WAP” again.
