The meaning of We are Bulletproof: Eternal Mv has explained and now ARMY is wiping their tears!
On June 12 KST, BTS has released its We are Bulletproof: Eternal an animated MV as a part Of 2020 BTS FESTA. The Mv shows the obstacles and hardships that BTS has faced throughout the seven years. It expressed BTS way from the very beginning…
… to this moment, their ups and downs, and their growth from the labor and success of which they have achieved. Its been a difficult and long road to get where they are now.
They have put all this in one video and represented the ARMY in the form of purple lights.
From No More Dream to Persona…
The video begins with the RM from Persona and facing his younger self at the time of his debut.
The next scene was of Jungkook passing through the No More Dream set.
Written on the pillar BTS SOLO indicated that BTS was a solo project.
The time when Bang PD asked Namjoon to choose SOLO or Bangtan. And he did not hesitate to have “Bangtan Sonyeondan”
The “For Sale” Logo…
BTS bought “FOR SALE“-clothes, as they couldn’t afford anything at its high price in the beginning. They had used “ForSale” in their t-shirt because the clothes they donned in their debut Mv were bought in the sale. They share their pain with the ARMY.
Also, “Hood By Air” is a New York-based streetwear label founded by Shayne Oliver.
Another reference for it says “For Sale” label on their arms shows that’s how companies saw them, as an investment and product. That’s why they look sad. And those flying papers are the offers Jungkook got from different companies but he chose to walk as Jungkook of BTS.
They had ignored all of them and paved their way.
V Glasses Flick…
They reminisce about the iconic scene of V glasses flick from No More Dream MV.
4’O Clock Window…
The Window outside of BTS N.O classroom resembles with RM and V’s song 4’o clock.
Black Ocean Wave…
The black wave in No More Dream Mv represents the black ocean way that BTS received back in 2013-2016. All fans turning off their lightsticks in every awarding show when it’s BTS time to perform…
Indicating Suga’s Injury…
In the next scene, Yoongi in the sailor uniform walking trembly while holding his hand references the incident that happened when he was a trainee.
He told members about it in Burn The Stage that he had an accident while he was delivering and his shoulder was disjointed. He didn’t tell anyone about it because he thought they would let him go if he told them.
He faced so many obstacles And wasn’t able to stand until BTS and ARMY helped him.
The same goes for RM…
BTS Assembling…
The next scene was taken from BTS Epilogue: Young Forever. It reminds us of members just like they gathered in Wembley Stadium.
…….ARMYs as the Purple Whale taking them to the top……….
BTS riding the whale is the most important scene of Mv. It tells the actual story behind their song Whalein 52.
It indicates the time when BTS struggled to have their voices heard in the industry and their hardships since the debut.
The most lonely creature whale in the vast ocean they were talking about in Whalien 52 is the one that cannot be heard at first and the one who sings and dreams non-stop in the blind.
But it has raised out of the ocean and burst into thousands of violet lights around them which represents the ARMY that has brought BTS to the top.
The meaning Behind We are Bulletproof Eternal Mv explained in Detail
And turned out as the purple ocean.
Now they no longer have fear because they have an ARMY & they have each other
BTS Wings Tour…
They have added “Born Singer” performance from their Wings tour Epilogue: finale
The one in the middle crying was J-Hope. It’s a reference from his speech in the Wings Tour Final.
BTS and ARMY Logos…
And finally the logos.
When the way all ARMY was confused about why BTS has changed its logo back in 2017. It was just they don’t need a Bulletproof vest anymore…The doors have opened and we reached the ocean…
“We Are Bulletproof: Eternal” Mv is filled with references to past works.
“I’m not crying, you are.”
