BTS V‘s Sweet Night Ranks No.1 on the Japanese iTunes Top Song Chart.

It is the 1st Song in the History to Top as a foreign track on Japan’s iTunes Top Song Chart, which is known as one of the hardest iTunes Song Charts.

In July, Sweet Night Became the 1st Song by any Soloist to Achieve Most No.1s’ Spot on iTunes Chart in About 105 Countries. As on August 2, “Sweet Night” has topped the iTunes Top Songs chart in 114 countries, including eight of the ten major music markets around the world.

According to The World Music Awards, V is the first Asian soloist to hit No. 1 in all significant iTunes music markets.

While it is normal for any Korean Artist to Promote their Japanese Album or Song in Japan But BTS V is the 1st Korean Solo Artist to Top Japan’s iTunes Chart with a Korean Song and most importantly av OST, which is even non-promoted.

Taehyung has also topped charts in Germany with his solo track “Inner Child” ranking at number two on the Top Song Chart in the U.K. Also BTS’s Latest Song “Your Eyes tell” From Their Japanese Album Map of Soul: The Journey joins V’s “Sweet Night” to Achieve iTunes ‘all-kill’ on the charts!
