BTS J-Hope has publicly displayed a figurine in support of ‘Black Lives Matter‘.
On July 6 KST, the BTS member J-Hope posted several images on Twitter, one of them was a shot of a ‘TAKE‘ companion figurine released by artist KAWS in support of the ‘Black Live Matters’ movement. A portion of the sales will proceed to ‘Black Lives Matter’ organizations including ‘Color of Change‘, with the goal amount of 250,000 USD.
In the original post, J-Hope included images of himself wearing a ‘VETEMENTS‘ t-shirt, as well as a limited edition teapot also by KAWS.
After J-Hope posted the photos, the hashtag ‘#hobi‘ trended worldwide on Twitter, as masses of fans supported the idol’s socially relevant and supportive gesture.
This isn’t the First time when J-Hope or BTS has spoken in supporting the lives. They have also shown huge BTS support Black lives matter movement by donating 1 million dollars to them. And due to their massive influence, their fans or ARMY has also match the amount by donating 1million dollars in just 24 hours.
Hobi only casually posted these to thank KAWS. It was the Army’s who found out that those figurines in both the posts were benefiting a social cause. One was for women support and the other for BLM. Indeed J-Hope is the true ally and now ARMY couldn’t be more proud to stan him.
