“Dynamite” Became BTS’s First Song To Achieve The Top 10 On The U.K. Charts

BTS has made their highest debuts with “Dynamite” on the UK charts and Germany!

The United Kingdom and Germany are two of the world’s five biggest music markets. Reported on August 28 local time, Official UK Charts announced that BTS’s new single “Dynamite,” an English-language song has debuted on the singles chart at No. 3.

Hence made it BTS’s highest-charting song to date, and they’re first-ever Top 10 single. The previous highest peak of BTS on the chart was at No. 13, which they achieved with “Boy With Luv,” featuring Halsey released back in April 2019.

“Dynamite” achieved 50,200 chart sales this week, composed of 5.3 million streams and 22,000 downloads.

Meanwhile, “Dynamite” earned No. 3 on Germany’s  Offizielle Deutsche Charts for singles.

For the first time, a BTS single had entered the Top 10 in Germany before it was BTS latest track “ON” that peaked at No. 21.

According to the Official Chart’s Statement, BTS replied most beautifully.

“We feel humbled and honored to have earned a new personal best on the UK Official Singles Chart.” They added,

 “First and foremost, we give all credit to the ARMY—without their support and love from day one, we wouldn’t have come this far.” They went on to say,

“Dynamite was created in the hopes of bringing some vibrant energy that the world needs right now more than ever. If it made one person happier, then that’s more than enough for us.”

The scores achieved by “Dynamite” in its first week in the remaining three countries (the United States, Japan, and France) have not yet been announced.
