On 30 August (Local Time) MTV reported on twitter that BTS has won all the Awards in all the categories in which they were nominated on Video Music Awards “VMAs“.
They have won Awards in the categories of:
1: BEST POP…
For this Category the were up against Tylor Swift’s “Lover“, Jonas brothers “What A Man Gotta Do“, Justin Bieber & Quavo’s “Intentions“, Ariana Grande & lady Gaga’s “Rain On Me“, and Halsey’s “You Should Be Sad“.
2: Best Kpop…
For BEST K-POP, they were up against EXO’s “Obsession“, (G)I-DLE’s “Oh My God“, MONSTA X’s “Someone’s Someone“, Red Velvet’s “Psycho“, and TXT’s “Run Away“.
3: Best Group…
BTS has won the BEST GROUP at Video Music Awards in against Seconds of Summer, 1975, BLACKPINK, Chloe x Halle, CNCO, Little Mix, MONSTA X, Now United, and twenty-one pilots.
4: Best Choreography (For On).
For Best Choreography, they were opponents to Ariana Grande & lady Gaga’s “Rain On Me“, Dua Lipa’s “Physical“, Dababy’s “BOP“, Normani’s “Motivation“, and Natti Natasha & CNCO’s “Honey boo“.
This is the Second Time of BTS winning in the Categories of Best group and Best K-pop which were recently created last year.
And for the night’s highlighting moment, BTS has Performed their newly released Dynamite Song for the first time on VMAs which were recorded remotely in South Korea Due to COVID Pandemic.
