BTS becomes the First Korean Artist to have the #1 position on Billboard Hot 100!
Billboard’s Hot 100 is a chart that assembles the most popular songs of the week in the U.S. It combines the streaming performance, music sales, and the number of radio broadcasts for ranking.
On August 31st, Billboard announced that BTS made their magnificent appearance on Billboard Hot 100. They achieve this grand feat with their latest Hit “Dynamite” a complete English-language song.

This is the first time in history that a Korean artist hit number 1 on this chart. And BTS is the first to have hit #1 on this chart. The previous highest record was set by PSY with “Gangnam Style” which ranks at #2 for almost seven weeks. However, BTS’s “ON” made the highest peak of reaching at #4 when the song released back in February!
